INSTALLATION

Do not remove grate, lay Drain Guard Topper on top of grate
Make sure there is a 2 inch overlap/seal around 3 sides
Bend metal in curb side so that there is 4 inches of vertical height against the curb (items ship fla t)
Use wire or metal zip ties to secure Drain Guard to grate, by putting them around grate rails and then up through the bottom of Drain Guard and securing by twisting wire together or connecting zip ties

Maintenance

Clean after every storm. Accumulation of debris, sediment and leaves can cause backups.
To clean, remove all debris and sediment from the surface of the filter, may use water to rinse off small sediment
Inspect Drain Guard to make sure there are no tears, or rips in the material.
